HST Sliding Window – Installation
At the beginning of February 2022, under favorable weather conditions, we carried out the installation of PVC window joinery and automated flush-mounted roller shutters in a newly built single-family house in Rudnik nad Sanem, Kościelna Street.
Due to the very high weight of the HST sliding window (over 500 kg), we used Soudal FlexiFoam, a specialized installation foam resistant to high deformation, ensuring long-lasting elasticity and dimensional stability.
For the installation, we also used an EMO HS load-bearing sub-sill as well as mounting accessories from Würth and Fischer, which are particularly well suited for large-format glazing.
The installed window measured 4.8 meters in width and 2.4 meters in height.
