External Roller Shutter Installation Service

The installation of external roller shutters can be carried out in several ways, depending on the building’s structure and the client’s preferences. In modern construction, the most commonly used system is the concealed roller shutter, where the guides are mounted on the window frame, and the box housing the shutter curtain is placed above the window. The box is then covered with polystyrene during the facade work. This solution is very modern and aesthetically pleasing. An important factor in this case is whether the lintels were insulated during the construction phase. If this was not done, special Aluthermo foil must be used to prevent the lintels from freezing.

Another installation method is the adaptive system, which is used when the facade has already been completed. In this case, the shutters are mounted in the window recess.

Another crucial step is choosing the control system. In new buildings, there are more possibilities because, during the electrical installation phase, additional wiring can be added for roller shutter connections. The client can then choose between remote control operation or wall-mounted switches. Additionally, a smartphone control system can be integrated.

There are several installation options for external roller shutters, and the final choice depends entirely on the client’s expectations and needs.
